Her name is Karen, she’s from Denmark and she’s got the indie thing down.
One of the smoothest voices you’ll ever hear making music to conceive to. Check out his debut album Pineapple Now-Laters.
So proud of the group of people who just graduated from the leadership course I helped facilitate for the past 5 months. The team created this workshop called Unity in Diversity that really made a difference in the lives of these children. It’s amazing what happens when we take responsibility for the world around us. Check out this incredible video of what happened.
Very live on David Letterman. Their album The Heist is definitely worth a download.
“This is…kinda chunky.”
Flex valiantly tried to describe what Kendrick was doing but what you’re seeing is an absolute legend in the making. Watch him run lyrical laps around these 3 classic beats while he was on Hot 97 this week and try to tell me something different.
Rationalization never sounded so good. Produced and featuring by Justin Kahler. Off Novel’s new EP Under Water, Overwhelmed.
NPR thought to have Miguel perform in the confines of their office where his talent could really be tested. His sound stripped down to just him and a guitarist. No slick editing, just his talent on full display and it’s incredible. You also get a good feel for his personality. Reminds me of when a mutual friend brought him to my house warming party 5 years ago. Miguel introduced himself to me and politely asked if he could sing for my guests. Seems like the same nice guy now.

My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James is dropping his debut full-length solo LP, Regions of Light and Sound of God next month and this song got me excited about that. Jim played every instrument and engineered the album himself. It was inspired primarily by Lynd Ward’s 1929 graphic novel God’s Man, which “chronicles an artist’s struggles with temptation and corruption, along with finding true love.”
“Did I leave my life to chance or did I make you f+@#ing dance?”
She’s sung with SBTRKT and now we can see more of what she’s about. This song got her buzzing in 2012 and now she’s starting to tour stateside as her EP entitled If You’re Never Gonna Move just came out here. This particular song will be included on her upcoming full length album called Devotion. As if Jessie J wasn’t enough, now we get to enjoy another singer from the UK named Jessie.
