So underrated and so consistently dope. This is off Citizen Cope’s first new album in 4 years entitled The RainWater that was just released.
Some very exciting things have been happening for our friend Mateo. He recently parted ways with MySpace Records which is leading to a lot of major label interest and he’s also started recording his full length album with Krucial (known for his production with Alicia Keys).
Today he released the third installment of his mixtape series Underneath the Sky which features an original song called Doubt and incredible reinterpretations of Bad Romance, Reign of Love, Forever and Empire State of Mind (which you can preview just below).

A lot of great artists like Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys performed at Earls Court in London, England on Tuesday night but this live mashup between Florence and the Machine’s You’ve Got the Love and Dizzee Rascal’s Dirtee Cash called You’ve Got the Dirtee Love featuring ten harpists was what stood out to me. Amazing performance!
