This year’s Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival happened over the weekend and Q-Tip was the headliner. During his set he brought out Kanye to perform Award Tour. So dope. By the way, I got to see the documentary about A Tribe Called Quest that Michael Rapaport directed and it’s definitely worth checking out.

When she won best new artist at the Grammy’s over Bieber and Drake I was scratching my head too. I’d never even heard of her but then you see clips like this. Yeah, that’s Stevie Wonder in the crowd nodding in approval at the end.
I did Coachella so thoroughly this year that I didn’t feel compelled to make the trip to Bonnaroo but judging by this clip it looks like good times were definitely had down there.
May 11th marks the 30 Year Anniversary of Bob Marley’s passing. Bob was 36 years old when he died of cancer in 1981. Thankfully he left us music like this.
