His last mixtape Enemy of the State was full of heat and now Lupe is snapping over tracks you might recognize from folks like Ellie Goulding, Justice and even John Coltrane for you jazz heads on this one.
Saw her sing this at Sayer’s Club in Hollywood last night. This song at this tempo with her voice makes it feel brand new. Their originals are worth checking out too.
No I.D. is one of my favorite producers so I’m not surprised that he’s managed to pull together this project that includes Common and features the R&B talents of James Fauntleroy. They released another EP worth checking out called The Pursuit over the summer and Ghost Lady is their dope follow up to that. Just below is a cut from it called Six that will most likely compel you to download Ghost Lady here promptly after hearing it.
